I rarely give 5-star reviews because I'm fairly hard to please. This headset earns a 5 from me for the following reasons:

1) Has multi-point pairing for TWO cell phones (see the manual for how). Please note it won't, however, pair with a cell phone and a different type of device (at least not in my experience); I tried pairing this with my laptop and my cell phone and the laptop will not see the device. I did not try it in the reverse order, laptop first then cell phone, but I don't think it works that way either.

2) The sound quality it pretty darn good. I use it to watch TV shows on Hulu on my laptop sometimes so I can keep the sound private and the sound is way better than laptop speakers. Yeah, I know that doesn't mean much, but it's also as good as my headphones.

3) The charge. It lasts a LONG time. I kept the earphone on for more than 24 hours straight and used it for 6 hours of that time and it still was not completely dead. Charging is also very quick, I believe about an hour or a little more than that. (By comparison, my Kindle takes 3 HOURS unless I use it as it charges; my cell phone takes almost 3 hours as well.)

4) Except for some minor static, the microphone is better than I expected. I can speak softly and everything is still picked up even though the mic sits at least 3 inches from my mouth with the ear loop connecting the earphone.

Graveyard of headsets. You name it, it's there. Always seeking the best headset due to my 4+hrs on calls.
The New Voyager Legend was the closest all around quality headset but wearing glasses the behind the ear was irksome. Once in a blue I'd hear communication wasn't that great. But that was seldom.
The EDGE!! Folks it's the best headset I've ever used after weeks in the office, and long drive home. (The Bose is the richest sounding for a2dp. But that's it.) The edge is still very good in streaming sound via one air.
Not once in 3 weeks and long usage , as in 4+hrs, have I been told that there's an issue hearing me. I have always been told it's crystal clear or that the receiving party didn't know I was using a headset.
Battery life? Best I've seen. Slightly better than the newest voyager legend UC I mentioned.
Range is as great as BT can be. I think better but that may be the BT on the retina MBP and 4.0 BT??. Easy pairing especially with new retina to use jabber voice on my laptop. No issues with talking on phone and it auto takes over as I experienced with Legend. If I start with BT turning on another won't interrupt and potentially take over.
Protective cradle which charges and protects is great. I didn't have to remember to order like with the Legend.
A slew of other features I won't mention. (Except one:-)). The ability to stream while I'm waiting and the other party cannot hear is awesome.
Last feature I promise is that it's light light light! So no ear canal fatigue.

Background: I have had 5+ bluetooth headset over the past few years including Jawbone Era and Bose. Almost loved the Bose headset - good (not great) audio quality and very comfortable fit. However, after losing two Bose headsets due to small form factor and tiny case I decided to try something new. After a lot of research I settled on Voyager Edge.

I love the sound quality. People usually can't make out that I am using a headset. The battery case that also charges the headset is amazing. Makes it easier to find the headset, keeps it protected and charged. Noise cancellation works well indoors but is not really effective against wind noise.

However, the headset is very painful to wear. The eartips are hard and cause irritation even after using them for 20-30 minutes. I tried using the smallest ear tip but it still is not comfortable. The degree of discomfort is so high that I am going to return this item.

It is a shame as the sound quality of this headset is excellent. Plantronics engineering team should redesign the eartips and offer free replacement to the current users. If they do not know what comfortable fit feels like they should try the Bose bluetooth headset.

I had a working Motorola BT earpiece that was ~ 5 years old and decided to replace it although it is still working. I bought the Plantronics Marquee 2 M165 @ ~ $39.00 from Amazon and received it a day early. Quickly paired it to my iPhone 5S. Tried to test a few voice generated outbound calls. Siri wouldn't recognize any "Call Home" or Call Anybody for that matter. Wouldn't "Send Text to XYZ". Siri kept waiting for a voice command that it never would receive. Apparently there's some middle-ware that "helps" the Marquee 2 do these tasks, although my old Motorola just interfaced directly with the iPhone. Fail.

Sending the Marquee 2 back to Amazon. I can't be bothered with any middle-ware.

Drove to one of the Big Box electronic stores and bought the Voyager Edge an hour ago. Jumped in my car, paired it, said "Call Home" and it called home. Wow. Send text to wife, Siri sent a text to my wife. All hands free. Did two test calls, one to a land line the other to a mobile phone and both parties report the audio sounds great and their audio to me sounded clear. Nice.

Didn't have to read the little fold out manual. Things just work as they should. Buttons feel sturdy. Fit is good with the default earpiece.

Would have given it five stars but I feel the price is a bit much for a BT earpiece. $130.00 seems high, although it is a quality product from my first experience with it.

Don't you get a little tired of every bluetooth headset being compared to Aliph? I suppose there is a reason for that so I will get this part out of the way. Jawbone 1 was a brick on my head and no way to carry it either. Jawbone II has about 3 hr talk time and has fitment issues (just about any piece does but there is usually a work around). Anyways, they are both top shelf noise killers as long as that little thingie touches your face.

With all that said the H15 has the most amazing noise killing ability I have ever used and that would be quite a list of maybe 25 headsets or so over 4 years. My wife could not hear my radar detector (it's pretty loud, it will scare you) or door chimes or seatbelt warning (ooops) and I don't think any unit ever passed that test clean. But here is the real killer...wind...outdoors...only tested light wind so far but that would be enough to kill others. I don't test by cranking a 1000 watt stereo or putting my face in front of a chainsaw running wide open, let the lab boys at Moto do that stuff...I just use it real world and try to evaluate it. Moto has this one dialed in.

I'm on conference calls quite a bit throughout the day and have used a wired headset at my desk (cheap, great sound quality, but ties you down) and the old LG HBS-700 most other times. The LG had done a fine job, it just becomes cumbersome sometimes and I wanted something smaller. I did my research and knew that the Plantronics EDGE and the Jawbone ERA were the two new kids on the block, so I bought both and did a side-by-side. I would try one for a couple of days and then the other, or sometimes I would try both with the same caller and ask for feedback.

I like all the ERA was intended to be...small, great fun features, interaction with Siri, and tremendous sound quality. In practice however, it just did not work out that way. Between the two the ERA has the better sound coming to my ear, but it would be sketchy to the person I was talking to; sometimes perfect other times not. I really need a headset that I can have confidence in and the ERA, at this point, can not do that for me. The EDGE, on the other hand, works every time. It's not as flashy or as small as the ERA, but it works. The sound coming to my ear is not quite as pleasing as the ERA (the ERA has a very good HD sound), but I can hear people extremely well, and I know when I'm on a call, people will hear me very well, every time I use it. In fact, I've been told that the sound coming to the person I'm talking to is almost as good as my wired headset with a boom mic...and that thing is as good as it gets!

This item is not quite as comfortable or as handsome as the Zelher P20 I bought about 18 months ago, for use while driving.

I got this BH-TT02 to use in my office with a bluetooth dictation system. I liked the price and the 4.5 star rating. However it did not work with my dictation system, and I planned to return it.

But the Zelher quit working (the mike died) and I had not yet returned the BH-TT02 and I needed something while driving and started to use this, and have found it works quite well with my LG V5600 bluetooth cellphone, and have concluded that it is probably sturdier than the Zelher, with fewer moving parts. People I'm talking with think I'm on a landline, and the earphone is loud enough.

So I am re-grading this item from 3 stars to 4..

5) Incredibly easy pairing with MY devices. The PIN code is announced (unless you turn off vocal announcements, which is necessary given how irritating it is -- goes on forever until you pair it), but I NEVER needed to enter it on either my laptop or my cell phone. The manual says it's automatic if you're using USB 2.1 (or higher I assume). That is what both of my devices are so no PIN needed.

The manual is very to-the-point and accurate and the device is ultra easy to use. I've been surprised by how hard some manufacturers can make these things. Anyway, I'm very happy with it and it was free with Vine!
